This article was written at March,2021, mainly about my first time shopping at iHerb. I shared lots of tips how to buy smartly and gain rewards points for next time shopping. There're some differences about iHerb shipping to Taiwan. I've written more articles about update information that can link below.

My shopping experience at iHerb

Ever since couple months ago, when I was looking for beauty and nutrition products on the Internet, I kept seeing iHerb's advertisements. I was a little surprised at the price, sooo cheap!! But then I thought the foreign shipping should be expensive, so I didn't purchase on iHerb then. Lately, I was looking for a special product. It's not easy to buy with a nice price and large package in Taiwan. After searching, I found it on iHerb exactly what I wanted. So I decided to buy it and give it a try. IHERB購物 iHerb promo code

After a whole run through shopping on iHerb, and received the package. Wow! It's really a great experience!.iHerb offers 20% OFF discount for the first purchase.. You can buy *the products in the trial zone* at the lowest price with 80 - 90% off. The shipping cost is NT 139. The quality of the products is good. After placing the order I received the package within * 5 work days ( not including weekend or holidays ). Estimated arrival date was 10-20 days . I was lucky to receive it in 5 work days. In short, it should be considered "SUPER FAST" to receive a package from the United States in 5 days!

iHerb has 2 distribution centers in Hong Kong and Korea. That's cool! iHerb is much better then AMAZON at this point. 😏😎
The equipments in iHerb's distribution centers are high end. The environment is with cool, climate-controlled. All the product batch are shifted within 1-2 months, so all you get are fresh, and it's not possible to be fake products.
●→iHerb website :" iHerb is run from 4 distribution centers in the U.S. and 2 in Asia As of March 2021, the majority of our orders going to Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore are processed from our South Korea and Hong Kong warehouses. All products at these two warehouses are fulfilled directly from our main hub in Southern California. "

According to my experience, it's better place order on Monday or Tuesday so that it might not take up 2 weekends (4 days) more days to wait. Thus you can receive in the quickest time.

The received package is in very good condition, and has not been squeezed or deformed. Only a large-scale international marketing channel company can have such a good logistics quality! I have also bought things abroad before, and shipped them back with consolidation shipping companies. Many of them were messed up with the goods leaking out or being squeezed ><". This time I bought some nutrition foods and skin care products. I've eaten and used all of them right after I received them. The quality is good , I give them all 5 stars !!

What is the Must Buy at iHerb ?

iHerb supports multi-language automatic translation and will automatically recognize your idiomatic language, so don’t worry about not being able to read English. When searching for products, you can also find products by typing in Chinese and English.

The main menu at the top of the website has three areas:"Shop", "Brands", and "Help With". The products are divided into categories brands/ keywords that you can easily find what you look for. If you are not really want to buy something particular, you can just look around and see if there are any new or good stuff can be bought and tried.

"Selected (special price). Trial. Best-selling."This area is a must to CHECK IT OUT. In addition to the promotion to grab the bargain, there is also a look at the hot products that everyone is buying. Usually they must be of good quality, high efficacy and CP value to become hot-sales goods. In particular, the products in the "trial" area are normal products with trial prices. The discount is very much about 80-90% off. For example, I bought...iHerb's Vitamin C 1000mg capsules...this time . The trial zone features slogan "1-1=free. Good things for trial, as low as $1", which means that the goods in this area are discounted. The cheapest is only $1. After you buy it, write a review and iHerb will send $1 USD reward to you, and next time you can use it to pay, which means this product is given to you for free.

Click into the product page, the product introduction is quite detailed. If you want to know more, you can link to the..brand’s official website...The link is at the bottom of the description. Some official websites have more detail information. If you don’t know the brand, you can see what country, brand concept , quality of manufacturing. Those who don't want to read English can use the translation tool of the browser (CHROME/EDGE), which is very convenient.

The main attraction of iHerb is that they have..brand sources from countries around the world .These brands that can sell products at iHerb must meet iHerb's conditions before they can join supplier partners, including EDI capabilities, SDS tables for all products, and product liability insurance. Certificates and so on. Among them,SDS substance testing will detect whether there are heavy metals, pesticides, plasticizers, carcinogenic compounds,etc., and whether the detected amount is a safe value in the product category. Products with SDS are more secure. iHerb is also a good place for many small-scale e-commerce workers to find the source of goods. 2022.6.20 UPDATE :：iHerb-台灣恢復了 Global Air with Tracking 的運送選項

Taiwan’s overseas shopping regulations stipulate that the total amount of purchases per person half a year ,.6 times( The 2 divided half year start from 1st Jan and 1st July ) ,≦ NT$ 2000 (including shipping fee)..that can..be tax-free* in the next few months .. The amount of the iHerb shopping cart will be automatically converted into Taiwan dollars. Don't forget to check whether it exceeds NT 2,000 at the checkout.

iHerb is very caring. They will guide and remind you everywhere. Make you feel almost like buying things in a physical store. Nowadays, online e-commerce is more powerful. Shopping online is becoming more convenient and even more beneficial, such as compare price and goods quality , no impulse consumption.

Important customs policy notice: According to the latest policy adjustments of the Taiwan Customs Administration, the consignee must undergo real-name authentication. When you submit an order in iHerb, the consignee's information (including any characters and spaces), such as Chinese name, personal ID number, mobile phone number (for example, 0912-XXX-XXX)) must be with you on the EZWAY mobile app The real-name authentication registration information filled in is exactly the same. For cases where the real-name authentication information is incomplete or does not match, the order will not be cleared.

✈ There are four options of delivery: Global Air with Tracking / Black Cat / SF / DHL,. if you want free shipping, choose.. Global Air with Tracking * in the next few months .Free shipping threshold - subtotal amount of more than 40 US dollars (about NT$ 1137)

Both Black Cat and SF Express have the same shipping cost of NT 141. I use SF Express this time. Because the..estimated arrival date..of Black Cat is one or two more days than SF Express, I want to receive it sooner since it's the first time I buy at iHerb, so I chose SF Express. The result was super fast, received within five working days. It was five days earlier than the fastest scheduled date of estimated. I didn’t notice that there is a free shipping discount. Next time, I will definitely try Global Air with Tracking.
2021-6-24 update :-The second time I tried Global Air, actually delivered by SF Express, the delivery time is the same as the first time. Both are 7 days including weekend.

💳 Payment can be made directly by credit card. You can also use PayPal ...There is a checkbox line "Save credit card information for repurchase" under the card information. I suggest to uncheck it. Although iHerb has emphasized that they have a strict protection mechanism for card numbers, it is hard to say that it is impossible to be hacked. Normally, I don’t keep financial-related information on the shopping platform, lest it is troublesome if it is hacked and stolen. If you are shopping with a mobile phone, it is best not to use WIFI, it is safer to use ADSL connection.

Register EZ WAY APP．Taiwan Custom regulations

In Taiwan, overseas shopping must be real-name registration certification via Ministry of Finance Customs Department "EZ WAY APP", after the mobile phone download APP registered, when goods arrive at custom of Taiwan, the query will be listed inside the APP detailed declaration of goods. Just click "Confirm".
The real-name authentication and the recipient written in the iHerb checkout must be the same person, and the mobile phone and recipient address must also be the same.
※My previous experience is that once you've registered EZ WAY APP , then you needn't do anything at all, the package will pass the custom and be delivered to you anyway without first confirming the details in the APP. Last couple of times, I always received the goods and then I knew it had arrived in Taiwan earlier, and then I went to the APP and clicked confirm.

2021 Oct update:Now Taiwan Custom strictly require that all packages *should be confirmed via EZ WAY APP *before clearance. EZ WAY APP will send notice when your package arrives at the Custom.

You have to wait 48 hours for iHerb to approve the reviews and photos. Then you can easily get one dollar into your bag.

So if you want to get thumbs-up rewards, you..can write a detailed review..and try to be helpful to other customers.Uploading photos..is also a good way to..get more "likes"...Usually, reviews with photos are more attractive . ( However, the system will filter the uploaded pictures. I have a few photos that are not permitted. They are all iHerb's own brand products. The pictures of the capsules are not allowed to be attached. Pictures of skin close-ups are not allowed neither. )
You can also ask friends who also members of iHerb to give you a like. Each person..everyday (24 hours),the first 5 likes..will let the ones who write the reviews get.. $0.1 USD..rewards.

★Answer questions posted by other customers

If someone presses a thumbs-up on your answer, you can get $0.1 for 1 like. Each product is counted whether it is a comment or answering a question. The total is *$100 at most.. Well, It's not so easy to get 1,000 likes, haha!

In 2022, iHerb changes the reward to $10 at most for answering a question.You won't get rewards after getting 100 thumbs up for this answer.
