2022-9-27 iHerb在FB公告取消完稅價，未滿2000元的可退稅，所有商品售價也有調漲。本文是6月到9/26期間寫的文章，僅供紀錄留存，不再更新資訊。

2022.6.1更新：Today iHerb announces on website that *all the product prices for shipping to Taiwan have been changed to duty-paid prices* in the next few months .Duty-paid price means the original selling price of the product + Taiwan customs duties and related handling fees. That is to say, whether there is or not to buy more than NT$2,000 of tax-free quota, there is no need to pay customs duties. iHerb will settle and pay customs duties with Taiwan Customs on its own.

有網友誤會以為是iHerb刻意漲價，其實不是，這些費用主要是台灣海關這邊徵收的。如果很不能接受關稅包進售價裡，也是可以考慮從香港或是美國買，再集運回來。

iHerb台灣改成完稅價對於小資族想買2000元免課關稅訂單比較有影響，我EMAIL詢問 iHerb客服，想再詳細確認是不是有方法可以申請退稅。以下是 iHerb客服回覆的內容和截圖。

改成完稅價也不是完全沒有好處，原本想買低於2000元的，只要 全部都買有折扣的商品、湊滿額免運費、使用獎勵金there's chance maybe you only need to pay a little more than before, and you don’t have to worry about whether you will accidentally exceeding the duty-free quota only a few cents but then need to pay a lot of tax. ( This situation won't happen now )

依照iHerb客服的回覆，iHerb目前都還在調整優化階段，隨時都可能會有改進的新作法，大家不妨拭目以待囉 🙂

Tips to save more with duty-paid price

iHerb台灣商品全面改成完稅價，很多人會覺得CP值未免降太多了吧，我實際精算了一下，還是可以很好買，但儘量要Choose shipping saver products to make it Free Shipping.The original business tax (5%) for beauty care products is actually not much different. Nutrition and health foods are subject to 30% import tax and 5% business tax. The price difference is about 1.5 times .If it can be controlled at about 30% off the whole order, You can deduct tariffs and get 4% off. so at least you won't pay more .

現在台灣免運費的門檻是80美元，香港是40美元，依實際計算 80美元 就是運台灣最經濟的消費金額，因為香港或美國的集運費用很高，以一張2000元的訂單來算，運費大約都是要5、6百以上，集運的費用和完稅價多出來的花費比例差不多都是比原本多了1.5倍差額。如果是比較重的營養食品類商品那運費又更可觀了。所以結論是大多情形在台灣買會更方便，不用擔心關稅和重量的問題，減少運送折損的風險，和集運回來總消費金額也差不多。

What is the difference now to buy at iHerb from Taiwan and what should be paid attention to?

iHerb resumes shipping to Taiwan on 2022.2.17. What is DDP?

During the period from 2/7 to 6/1, 2022, iHerb used the "DDP advance customs duty" method to checkout and pay for orders in Taiwan. For tax-free orders less than NT$2,000, iHerb will verify whether there is no duty to pay when the customer receives the goods, and automatically refund to the original payment account within 48 hours.

Starting from 2022.6.2, iHerb has changed its new practice, changing the original practice of "prepaid customs duties" to "dutiable value of goods", which can simplify the order delivery process and facilitate faster customs clearance.

" Imported goods are subject to duties, taxes, and handling fees which are levied by the local government agency in Taiwan. With * DDP (Delivered Duties Paid), you do not have to pay any additional duty or tax at the time of delivery. "

DDP （Delivered Duty Paid）is a customs term, which means * delivery after duty payment* (delivered to a designated destination). According to DDP regulations, the seller-exporter shall bear all the risks in the process of delivering the goods to the designated destination, and shall be fully responsible for the customs clearance procedures at the destination customs and the payment of customs duties and other costs. The seller bears the greatest responsibility for this kind of delivery method.
